Cut Velvet with Fringe
Rayon velvet pile with silk chiffon backing. This scarf will keep you warm when the winter wind blows and you'll look so smart bundled up! Luxurious velvet with hand-rolled hem of 100% silk thread.
Charmeuse
A muted crepe on the back side and shimmery lustrous satin on the top side. It is heavier and more substantial than Satin or Crepe de Chine, has a firm, soft, supple hand and a luxuriously heavy drape. This fabric traditionally considered to be the best of the best, unless you get into the velvets... You really can't appreciate these by the photos as it doesn't show the shimmery feature of the silk. These have hand rolled hems with 100% silk thread (unless otherwise noted).
Habotai
Also known as "China Silk", these lightweight and breezy Habotai scarves are some of the most popular and the most reasonably priced. They make the perfect weight scarf for summer wear, or use under your winter coat for a soft layer against your neck. A great accessory for your winter sweater as well. These have hand rolled hems with 100% silk thread.
Crepe de Chine
Crepe de Chine silk has a slightly crinkled or "pebbled" texture with a gentle, graceful drape, a very soft hand, and a more substantial weight than most Habotai. Because of the texture, the sheen is much more subtle on this weave of silk. This fabric is one of the more luxurious of the silks and it holds the dyes with great depth. Hand rolled hem with 100% silk thread.
Crepe
A cross between Crepe de Chine and Chiffon, this lightweight silk feels elegant and drapes so nicely. This scarf (which doesn't photograph particularly well) has a is a buttery yellow-gold with a gold metallic wave pattern along the edge. Embellished with real Swarovski crystals in the corners, this will be the elegant scarf you'll reach for again and again during the holiday season. Hand-rolled hem of 100% silk thread.
Chiffon
An elegant, sheer fiber with a soft beautiful drape and a crepe like texture. This silk is ideal for floaty scarves, shawls and wispy gowns. Like a feather floating on the wind. The essence of silk.
